If you have an appointment at Delph Dental Practice this week, please be prepared for heavy traffic due to Download Festival – plan ahead and allow extra travel time!
If you have an appointment booked at Delph Dental Practice this weekend (Friday 13th – Sunday 15th June), please be aware that Download Festival is taking place nearby at Donington Park, which may cause significantly higher than usual traffic levels in the surrounding areas.
This popular annual music event draws tens of thousands of attendees from across the country, and the impact on local roads – particularly the A511, A42, and M1 junctions around Castle Donington and Swadlincote – is expected to be substantial throughout the weekend. Roads may become congested earlier than usual, especially in the mornings and late afternoons as festival goers arrive and depart.
If you are travelling to us from areas affected by festival traffic, we kindly advise you to:
We want to ensure that your experience with us is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Arriving early for your appointment can help avoid disruption, particularly if you’re booked in for longer treatments or with our hygienist.
We understand that delays can happen, especially in unpredictable traffic. If you’re running late or need assistance on the day of your appointment, please give us a call on 01283 222499 so we can do our best to accommodate you or make alternative arrangements if necessary.
Even if you don’t have an appointment during the festival, please feel free to share this post with any friends or family who are due to visit us. Your help in keeping everyone informed is very much appreciated!
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this busy period.
We look forward to seeing you soon and hope you enjoy the weekend.
